STOCKHOLM - Der diesjährige Friedensnobelpreis geht an den chinesischen Dissidenten Lui Xiaobo. Nach der Bekanntgabe der Entscheidung des Nobelpreiskomitees herrschte Verwirrung, galt doch der Wunsiedler Stadtrat Michael Flood lange als Favorit. Ein Mitglied des Komitees teilte 14durch7 auf Anfrage schriftlich mit dass "der Flood aber für 2011 vorgemerkt sei".
